Case 01
BRIEF
Triumph Australia conducts hundreds of Surveillance and Factual investigations each year for multiple Insurance companies. In one particular matter, a Claimant was receiving Workers Compensation payments for an alleged injury and was soon to receive a $1.3m payout. The Case Manager at the Insurance company felt that something was not quite right and asked Triumph Australia to conduct surveillance to obtain evidence of whether their claim was legitimate.
OUTCOME
Triumph Australia Investigators captured many hours of covert surveillance footage of the Claimant at the gym and otherwise being very active. This evidence, and the manner in which it was presented by Triumph Australia allowed the Insurance company to deny the claim and cease any further Workers Compensation payments.

Case 02
BRIEF
Our client owned a Vehicle Repair Centre and was suspicious that the Manager he had employed to run the Centre was funnelling profits into his own pocket, either through cash sales or other means. Triumph Australia was able to install covert surveillance cameras within the factory to establish the extent of the Managers illegal activities.
OUTCOME
The owner of the business dismissed the Manager from the company and was able to use the evidence obtained to sue the Manager for loss of profits and other damages.

Case 03
BRIEF
A large self insured company in the retail sector had been paying a disability pension to an employee for injuries incurred during work activities. The employee was supposedly not able to return to work in any capacity. The company felt that this person was not deserving of the pension and was able to return to work, at least in some capacity.
OUTCOME
Triumph Australia Operatives were able to conduct covert surveillance over a period of two weeks which demonstrated the employee jogging and working out at the gym and playing with their children. The company was able to use this evidence to cease any further payments to the employee and dismiss them permanently from the company.

Case 04
BRIEF
A large company in the service industry was having issues with its sales team taking advantage of not having to come into the office to start their days work. Using covert surveillance tactics, Triumph Australia was able to find that many of the Sales representatives were starting work well after the appropriate starting time and finishing a lot earlier than the allotted finish time. In some cases, Sales Representatives did not commence their daily duties whatsoever!
OUTCOME
Using the footage we obtained the company was able to dismiss the staff and set an example to other staff members. As a result, sales, profits, and performances improved immensely.

Case 05
BRIEF
A client with a large number of office staff was experiencing theft within their office. Triumph Australia was able to place an operative into the workplace posing as a fellow office worker. Our Operative was able to quickly identify who the thief was and obtained footage of various acts of the theft taking place using specialist equipment and covert cameras.
OUTCOME
The company was able to dismiss the employee without any fear of unfair dismissal ramifications.

Case 06
BRIEF
A large company in the “Fast Moving Consumer Goods” sector was having an issue with stock going missing during transit. The company’s shrinkage levels were at an all time high and they required assistance to find the source of the problem. Triumph Australia placed operatives within the company to get amongst the truck drivers and other transport workers to establish who was orchestrating the theft of the stock.
OUTCOME
Triumph Australia Operatives were able to uncover a number of participants involved in the organised theft. The company was able to dismiss these staff and prosecute successfully as well as setting an example for anyone else who may have been planning something similar in the future.
